Description
Difference between OCS040D and OCS240D
The OCS240D standard includes several functions that are only optional in the OCS040D. The OCS240D is an expansion of the OCS40D and also disposes of a high-end total hydrocarbon sensor. This sensor is calibrated, measures up to PPM level (parts per million) and the threshold values can immediately be programmed in the display.
Please note: In case of activities where active carbon filers are deployed a total hydrocarbon sensor is usually mandatory.
Description
The OCS040D controller is an advanced control panel for the BMAir pressurised filter systems. This system will automatically warn machine drivers and operators when caution is called for. The system is in fact the main centre when it comes to controlling and monitoring and functions as high-end personal protective equipment for every machine driver and operator. The OCS040D is even more advanced than the controllers from the TAC series.
More technology and even more functions
Controllers from the TAC series already include the latest technology and functions, including a plug & play installation, registration of hours, automatic pressure regulation and LED indicators with information about how saturned the filter is. However, OCS040D controllers go a step further. These controllers also allow you to log various types of data. Data logging allows the controller to record numerous events and air values. This series also has a programmable filter time.
Difference between OCS series and TAC(S)
Compared to the TAC series, the OCS series includes various additional functions. Below is a list of the functions that the OCS series has, which the TAC/TACS series do not have (* = an optional function).
- Data logging
- Bluetooth
- Programmable threshold values
- Monitoring the breakdown of the carbon filter*
- GPRS modem*
- Adjustable automatically regulated air volume*
- Possible to install several sensors*
- Online monitoring*
